The New Year Honours List for 2018 has been released, and contains a number of high achievers from across the property industry.
The CEO of the Northern Housing Consortium, Josephine Boaden, has been awarded with a CBE (Commanders of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to housing providers in the north of England in the list, having served in the role since 2010.
Thank you for all the thoughtful, kind messages I have received about the CBE! Continue to be overwhelmed and remain surprised, even though I have known since the end of November and have had to keep it secret, very difficult! Wonderful to have this recognition for the NHC @NHC

Stephen Howlett, former group chief executive of major housing association Peabody, also received a CBE for his services to housing. He stepped down from the role in July after serving at the company since 2004.
He said: “I am hugely honoured to have received this award which I owe first and foremost to my family. I am also indebted to the unique Peabody Trust and the amazing colleagues, board members and partners who have helped and supported me through my career.”
