Attracting local buyers
Adopted back in July 2016, the Core Strategy establishes the overall spatial vision for Stratford-on-Avon District up to 2031 and establishes the framework that other planning documents will build on.
Around a mile from the centre of town, Miller Homes is offering three remaining family homes priced from £440,000 at its Birmingham Road development – Montague Court. The semi-rural setting comprises energy efficient two, three, four and five bedroom homes, which have proved popular with local buyers looking to downsize but not wishing to forfeit plot size and build quality.
A spokesperson from Stratford District Council said: “We are keen to attract more housebuilders and developers with a good reputation to provide much needed homes for first-time buyers and expanding families, in a similar vein to the properties at Montague Court. Demand in our local vicinity is strong and we are actively looking at ways to create more housing and push through innovative planning applications.”
