Bristol came 38th in the world, with year-on-year house price growth of 10.1 per cent, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/02\/16\/manchester-named-one-europe-fastest-growing-cities\/\">Manchester <\/a>came in at number 51, with growth of 7.9 per cent, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/16\/londons-property-market-says-no-birmingham-will-welcome\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Birmingham<\/a> was at number 53, with growth of 7.7 per cent.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"VcNz92rABf\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/24\/knight-frank-reveals-prime-rent-index\/\">Knight Frank reveals prime rent index<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Knight Frank reveals prime rent index&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/24\/knight-frank-reveals-prime-rent-index\/embed\/#?secret=eoCs0gqai2#?secret=VcNz92rABf\" data-secret=\"VcNz92rABf\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With house price growth of only 7.5%, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/20\/owns-london-probably-not-think\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">London<\/a> only managed to secure spot number 55.<\/p>\n<p>This is a rather significant fall for the capital after being ranked 36th during the third quarter of 2016. During the first quarter of last year, London even made it up to rank number 14, with a house price growth of 15.2%.<\/p>\n<p>The report\u2019s top 10 were heavily dominated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/13\/positive-outlook-chinese-property-market\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese cities<\/a>, taking up nine spaces with Wellington, in new Zealand, being the only non-Chinese addition in 10th position.<\/p>\n<p>The research found in this report goes in hand with the broader picture of London slowly losing its status of exclusivity.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"rKLnRT7ZuA\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/06\/manchester-property-prices-will-grow-28-2\/\">Manchester property prices will grow 28.2%<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Manchester property prices will grow 28.2%&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/06\/manchester-property-prices-will-grow-28-2\/embed\/#?secret=lHHRhSRx8x#?secret=rKLnRT7ZuA\" data-secret=\"rKLnRT7ZuA\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Knight Frank index isn\u2019t the only report revealing Manchester as the stringer market. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/27\/manchester-squeezes-past-london-strongest-annual-house-price-growth\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Hometrack has also published its city house price index<\/a>, in which it names the country\u2019s 20 best cities for house price growth and named Manchester as one of the top spots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here an overview of the ranking of British cities in Knight Frank\u2019s Global Residential Cities index:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>38.
